Emotional Well-being
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) capitalizes on horses' exceptional capacity to offer consolation and emotional support while exhibiting nonjudgmental empathy. Interacting with horses in a group environment can be a very effective way to foster emotional awareness, self-control, and coping abilities. Through these interactions, a secure and transforming atmosphere is created that promotes human and horse development and fortifies emotional ties with group members to ensure long-term wellbeing. By participating in our group monthly themed activities, like Extreme Ownership, Taking Control of Anxiety, Developing Self-Esteem, Practicing Congruence, Communication Skills, Mindfulness and Awareness, we learn how to effectively relate to other beings, both human and animal.

Communication and Team Building
Clients have a dynamic platform to improve their communication and teamwork abilities through Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). Clear communication is essential while interacting with horses, both in spoken and nonverbal forms, as this promotes better teamwork. Horses demand congruence from people - meaning you can be happy or sad, but be true to your feelings. They can immediately tell if you are "lying" to yourself or them by acting happy if you are feeling sad. They also notice the second you remove your attention, which makes them perfect teachers for those with ADHD, learning disabilities, or anxiety. Grooming, leading, and overcoming challenges are examples of experiences that teach collaboration, build relationships, and foster effective communication. EAL turns into a life-changing event that develops vital interpersonal skills and promotes harmony and empathy with others.
Physical Health
Engaging in equine-related pursuits, like riding or tending to these majestic creatures, is a distinctive opportunity for physical activity among participants. Walking and leading horses, grooming them vigorously, cleaning out their hooves, cleaning their feed buckets, carrying and stacking hay, filling water buckets, sweeping, raking and poop-scooping, as well as stall cleaning, all build strong bones and muscles, increase cardiovascular activities, lowers blood pressure, and develops incredible physical and mental fitness. Interaction with horses is dynamic and not only offers an opportunity for outdoor exercise, but it also makes a major positive impact on our mental and physical health, and general well-being. People that participate in these activities enjoy being outside in addition to the physical benefits of exercise, which promotes a complete approach to health through Equine Assisted Learning.
